Synopsis (short abstract) The Global Teak Resources and Market Assessment 2022 (TRMA 2022) aimed to update, evaluate and expand the available data and information on natural and planted teak forests in all teak growing countries that were selected according to previous assessments and references from the literature. The selection comprised 80 countries, all of which have their major land area between the Tropic of Cancer to the north and the Tropic of Capricorn to the south.
