Synopsis (short abstract) According to Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA) in 2050 the population of Rwanda will be more than 25 million, from the 13 million it stands at now. To respond to the dramatically growing food demand requires changing the way we do agriculture. Moving from subsistence to business-oriented farming. This Newsletter combines stories of farmers who say what they are doing to play their role in the journey of achieving Zero Hunger. It also shows what the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is doing to leverage strong synergies and partnerships to promote agriculture innovations system, develop the small livestock sector, fight food waste, and generally encourage and celebrate food heroes.

FAO launched the use of pheromone traps and lures to help farmers in the fight against Fall Army Worm; Women involved fishing in Rusizi district were given training to improve their business and incomes and through the land restoration and sustainable food and agriculture, farmers in Rulindo were given seedlings and a market to facilitate sell of their produce.
