GAC intends to build a platform of various resources for youth innovators and agri-tech entrepreneurs, meanwhile enabling a global network that links youth to diverse stakeholders in the agrifood systems, including international organizations, government institutions, academia and research institute, and the private sector. From 2020 to 2023, the GAC has attracted over 1044 youth participants in 427 teams from over 65 countries, applying to showcase their innovative solutions to the world. FAO has established a professional network through collaboration with various partners, including international organizations, research institutes, leading industry companies, and investment organizations. Following the success of GAC 2020-2022, and with the renewal of the MoU in 2024, FAO and ZJU hope to further improve the brand’s influence, enhance the cohesion of the two institutions, and better face the challenges with the use of new emerging technologies. -
