The attached Report on CGIAR Priorities and Strategies is a revised version of the draft that was discussed at MTM 96. The report provided the basis for TAC's recommendations on medium-term resource allocations which are presented in document SDR/TAC:IAR/97/6 - Medium Term Resource Allocation 1998-2000: Centre Proposals and TAC Recommendations.

The major issues will be introduced by the TAC Chair. Discussion will take place in plenary session.
