Existing fish production level in our country is far below, to our requirements. Bangladesh is blessed with immense fisheries resources and now we must harness our resources for increasing fish production by using appropriate technology. In this regard the FISH CULTURE MANUAL will greatly help the fish producers.
This Manual has clearly described the various steps of fish culture practice in simple language and by using appropriate pictures and figures making the manual more attractive and interesting. Undoubtedly, this manual will help the fish farmer to improve their efficiency in farming and increase the production.
At the end, I would like to thanks the Experts of FAO/UNDP -BGD/87/045 for their earnest attempt in bringing out this FISH CULTURE MANUAL.
