Abstract

The working group meeting on the elaboration of 1994–95 programme of activities was held in Biarritz on September 8–10, 1993, as recommended by the Seminar on constitution of the EAM Network held in Athens on June 1993.

The group discussed the proposed programme of activities related to the following four identified priorities:

The proposed activities were revised, discussed and accepted by the meeting. However, it was stressed the need to adopt a uniform approach both in form and context of the proposed programme of activities, within the availa budgetary constraints.

This has led to some difficulties in finalising the documents and implementing corrections, because authors and contributors as well as some of the original material or files were no longer available.

Considering the above, we hope that the reader will understand that a standard of publication could not be maintained on a level as high as we would have liked it to be.
