The framework is structured around four strategic pillars: agrifood systems transformation; family farming, agribusiness and value chains; environmental sustainability; and disaster risk management. The CPF’s objectives include improving food security and nutrition, aligning with several SDGs, and promoting inclusive socioeconomic development, particularly for youth and women, through job creation and income generation. It also aims to enhance resilience and sustainable management by adopting climate-smart technologies and promoting the blue economy. The framework strongly emphasizes enhancing market access, implementing innovative agricultural technologies, and ensuring the fair distribution of resources and opportunities.
