This will be possible if investments target profitable food chains that have made clear efforts to improve their water efficiency level and have the potential to further enhance the productivity of each drop of water consumed. In this regard, the poultry meat sector for domestic consumption and some selected high-value market fruits and vegetables of the Jordan Valley (JV) deserve priority attention.
