Synopsis (short abstract) Le projet OASIL a revitalisé les agroécosystèmes oasiens dans la région de Drâa Tafilalet afin d’améliorer la productivité, la durabilité et la résilience des communautés. Financé par le Fonds pour l’environnement mondial (FEM) avec des cofinancements du Gouvernement marocain et de l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture (FAO), il a été mis en oeuvre par la FAO en adoptant une approche intégrée et paysagère. Les partenaires de mise en oeuvre sont le Département du développement durable du Ministère de la transition énergétique et du développement durable et l’Agence nationale pour le développement des zones oasiennes et de l’arganier. Le projet a mis l’accent sur le dialogue politique, la planification participative,les démonstrations pilotes et la gestion des connaissances. Le projet a été mis en oeuvre entre 2017 et 2025, après des retards initiaux.

Elle a été menée au moyen d'une revue documentaire, d'une mission de terrain, d'entretiens semi-directifs, d'une étude de cas et de groupes de discussion avec les parties prenantes et les bénéficiaires finaux.

    The OASIL project revitalized oasis agroecosystems in Morocco’s Drâa Tafilalet region to enhance productivity, sustainability and community resilience. Funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and co-financed by the Government of Morocco and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), it was implemented by FAO using an integrated landscape approach. Implementation partners are the Department of Sustainable Development within the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development and the National Agency for the Development of Oasis Areas and the Argan Tree. The project focused on policy dialogue, participatory planning, pilot demonstrations and knowledge management. The project was implemented from 2017 to 2025, after initial delays.
