As we stand at the midpoint of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, it is both a moment of reflection and an opportunity to renew our commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and our partners continue to work to advance the SDGs and address the world's most pressing challenges related to food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture. In August 2023, the FAO Office of Sustainable Development Goals launched a survey, "Showcasing FAO SDGs Acceleration Work," which was distributed to FAO Headquarters, regional offices, and country offices around the world, receiving over 600 responses that shared valuable insights, experiences and actions taken towards the achievement of the SDGs. We are immensely grateful for the dedication and commitment demonstrated by our colleagues across the FAO network. In addition to these survey responses, we have leveraged data from FAO project platforms to present this visual representation of FAO’s contribution to the 2030 Agenda implementation through our actions on the ground. Let’s delve into this compelling journey of progress and possibilities as we work collectively towards a more sustainable, equitable and prosperous world for all.
