Synopsis (short abstract) This document presents key findings from the Self-evaluation and Holistic Assessment of Climate Resilience of Farmers and Pastoralists (SHARP+) surveys conducted in October and November 2024 across the Nile Delta and Upper Egypt regions. The SHARP+ methodology, developed by FAO, provides a comprehensive tool for assessing smallholder farmers' climate resilience at the household level. The research was implemented as part of the SCALA programme (Scaling up Climate Ambition on Land Use and Agriculture), a joint initiative between FAO and UNDP.Key components include:- Detailed resilience scores across 21 modules spanning environmental, economic, and social domains- Primary focus on livestock-producing households and their climate adaptation capacity- Analysis aimed at informing stakeholders and supporting scaled climate action in agriculture and land useThis assessment serves as a critical resource for advancing the objectives of both the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by identifying strengths, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhancing resilience among agricultural communities in Egypt.
