2007Sustainable use, development and conservation of the world’s livestock genetic resources are of vital importance to agriculture, food production, rural development and the environment. In recognition of the need to develop an effective framework for the management of these resources and to address the threat of genetic erosion, 109 countries came together in September 2007 at the first International Technical Conference on Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture held in Inter laken, Switzerland. The Conference adopted the Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources – which includes 23 strategic priorities for action to promote the wise management of these vital resources. The Global Plan of Action is the outcome of a country-driven process of reporting, analysis and discussion, which also resulted in the preparation of The State of the World’s Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, the first comprehensive global assessment of livestock diversity and its management. The Conference also adopted the Interlaken Declaration on Animal Genetic Resources, which affirms countries’ commitment to the implementation of the Global Plan of Action and to ensuring that the world’s livestock biodiversity is utilized to promote global food security and remains available to future generations. -

2007Việc sử dụng bền vững, phát triển và bảo tồn tài nguyên di truyền vật nuôi của thế giới là rất quan trọng đối với nông nghiệp, sản xuất thực phẩm, phát triển nông thôn, và môi trường. Do nhu cầu phát triển một khuôn khổ hiệu quả cho việc quản lý tài nguyên và giải quyết các mối đe doạ xói mòn di truyền, 109 quốc gia họp triệu tập vào tháng Chín năm 2007 tại Hội nghị Kỹ thuật Quốc tế về Tài nguyên Di truyền Động vật vì Lương thực và Nông nghiệp đầu tiên tại Interlaken, Thuỵ Sỹ. Hội nghị đã thông qua Kế hoạch Hành động Toàn cầu về Tài nguyên Di truyền Động vật - trong đó bao gồm 23 ưu tiên chiến lược hành động nhằm thúc đẩy quản lý khôn ngoan các tài nguyên quan trọng này. Kế hoạch Hành động Toàn cầu là kết quả của quá trình định hướng quốc gia về báo cáo, phân tích, và thảo luận, đồng thời chuẩn bị cho báo cáo Hiện trạng Tài nguyên Di truyền Động vật Thế giới vì Lương thực và Nông nghiệp, bản đánh giá toàn diện toàn cầu đầu tiên về đa dạng vật và quản lý vật nuôi. Hội nghị cũng thông qu a Tuyên bố Interlaken về Tài nguyên Di truyền Động vật, trong đó khẳng định cam kết của các quốc gia về việc triển khai Kế hoạch Hành động Toàn cầu và đảm bảo đa dạng sinh học chăn nuôi của thế giới được sử dụng nhằm thúc đẩy an ninh lương thực toàn cầu và bảo tồn cho các thế hệ tương lai. -

2008Bærekraftig bruk, utvikling og bevaring av verdens husdyrgenetiske ressurser er livsviktig for landbruk, matproduksjon, bygdeutvikling og miljøet. I erkjennelse av behovet for utvikling av et effektivt rammeverk til forvaltning av disse ressursene og for å sette fokus på trusselen som genetisk erosjon utgjør, møttes 109 land i september 2007 på den første Internasjonale konferansen om husdyrgenetiske ressurser for mat og landbruk i Interlaken, Sveits. Konferansen vedtok Den globale handlingsplan en for husdyrgenetiske ressurser – som omfatter 23 strategiske prioriteringer for handling for å fremme fornuftig forvaltning av disse livsviktige ressursene. Den globale handlingsplanener resultatet av en nasjonalt gjennomført prosess som omfattet rapportering, analyse og diskusjon. Prosessen førte også til utarbeidelsen av Statusrapporten om verdens husdyrgenetiske ressurser for mat og landbruk, den første omfattende globale evaluering av husdyrmangfold og dets forvaltning. Konferansen vedto k også Interlaken-erklæringen om husdyrgenetiske ressurser, som bekrefter landenes forpliktelse til å iverksette Den globale handlingsplanen og sikre at verdens husdyrmangfold utnyttes til styrking av den globale matsikkerheten og forblir tilgjengelig for framtidige generasjoner. -
