Synopsis (short abstract) The Global Conference on Living Wages and Living Income in the Banana Industry was held on Thursday, 14 March 2024, at FAO Headquarters, Rome, Italy. The discussions revolved around current challenges on living wages and income in the banana industry, the importance of fair compensation for workers, and shared responsibility for achieving a living wage.
