Ce recul entraînera une diminution importante des réserves mondiales à la clôture des campagnes de 2013, même si la demande mondiale s’essouffle en raison des prix élevés. Les cours mondiaux des céréales sont restés fermes en septembre; les prix cotés pour le blé et le riz ont légèrement augmenté, tandis que ceux du maïs ont baissé.
