No results found.The eleventh session of the Compliance Committee (CoC) was held on 29–30 June 2017 in Rome, Italy. Following the conclusions of the CoC intersessional meeting (January 2017, Italy), the session reviewed the work carried out during the intersessional period and took stock of the progress made in the implementation of Target 3 of the Mid-term strategy (2017–2020) towards the sustainability of Mediterranean and Black Sea fisheries. Moreover, the session analysed the national reports submitted by th e contracting parties and cooperating non-contracting parties on the status of implementation of decisions adopted by the Commission at its thirty-ninth session (May 2015, Milan) and fortieth session (May/June 2016, Malta) and furthered its deliberations on the ongoing identification and clarification process, including in relation to relevant noncontracting parties. Proposals for new decisions relating to compliance issues expected to be adopted by the Commission at its upcoming session were di scussed, including the draft Regional plan of action for the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing. Important aspects associated to the control of fishing operations, with particular reference to a joint inspection plan for demersal fisheries in the Strait of Sicily, were outlined. The session adopted its work programme for the next intersessional period and elected the new members of the CoC Bureau. -

La onzième session du Sous-Comité de l’aquaculture du Comité des pêches de la FAO s’est tenue en visioconférence du 24 au 27 mai 2022. Le présent document contient le rapport reflétant les débats menés lors de la session et dans lequel figurent les recommandations et les orientations formulées par le Sous-Comité. Un aperçu des résultats de la session est donné dans le résumé et des informations supplémentaires sont fournies dans les annexes. La 11.ª reunión del Subcomité de Acuicultura del Comité de Pesca de la FAO se celebró de forma virtual del 24 al 27 de mayo de 2022. En este documento se presenta el informe de la reunión, que da cuenta y razón de las deliberaciones mantenidas y contiene las recomendaciones y la orientación formuladas por el Subcomité. En el resumen se sintetizan los resultados de la reunión y en los apéndices se incluye información suplementaria.
