The 14th International Food Data Conference (IFDC) will be hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) from 1 to 3 September 2025. The event will bring together experts from the International Network of Food Data Systems (INFOODS) – a global voluntary network of food composition experts dedicated to improving the quality, availability, reliability and use of food composition data – alongside other professionals with interest and expertise in the field.

The IFDC serves as a platform for sharing innovations in data generation, analytical methods, and database management. It fosters collaboration among scientists, analysts, and data users to enhance the development and uses of food composition data.

The 2025 conference theme, "Food composition databases: application for healthy diets and sustainable agrifood systems transformation", emphasizes the critical role of food composition data in fostering global health and sustainability.
