    This discussion provides space for African cities to share their experiences and strategies for a more resilient urban food system. Insights are shared from the FAO Questionnaire: Food Systems and COVID-19 - Municipal Response to the Emergency, which fielded over 200 African city responses. Discussions will move beyond the impact and response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to more long term approaches for ensuring continued access to nutritious food in the face of climatic and political shocks.
