The market for fishery products is quite stable in Europe during the month of October. Buying for the Christmas season started, and prices for the upscale market are going up. Shrimp prices were very strong, and increased by 20% for several sizes. Lobster is practically not available in the market, and prices are reported to be 50% ahead of last year’s levels. Only tuna prices started to move downward, due to lower demand for canned products during winter months.
