This approach is at the core of the FAO Green Cities Initiative launched in 2020 by its Director-General. Presentations of a panel discussion aimed at sharing inspiring insights of African cities in line with the Green Cities Initiative and stimulate a discussion on challenges and solutions to promote green and resilient cities. This presentation stresses how the Agri-food system and green spaces of Kisumu city-county contribute to building the city food resilience. -
