No results found.FAO China ECTAD Highlights in December 2018: 1) The Introductory Course of the fifth cohort of the China Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (CFETPV) was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province from 19 November to 14 December 2018. 44 selected applicants out of 80 from the national, provincial and municipal animal health agencies and university were trained under this course. The four-week introductory course aimed to prepare the participants with basic veterinary epidemiology concepts that will be useful to apply in the daily work to prevent and control the disease. 2) A Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Backstopping Seminar was held in Qingdao, Shandong Province from 24-25 December 2018. The seminar was organized by FAO Emergency Center for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP) and delivered by the regional M&E expert, Mr Frank Pumipuntu. Mr Liu Lushi and Dr Han Zifeng participated in the seminar on behalf of FAO China ECTAD Office. -

No results found.FAO China ECTAD Highlights in December 2019: 1)The FAO-China South-South Cooperation (SSC) Project on Transboundary Animal Disease Control in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region Annual Coordination Meeting of the Project Steering Committee (PSC) was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province from 10 to 11 December 2019. The meeting was co-organized by FAO Emergency Centre for Transboundary Animal Diseases (ECTAD) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP) and the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (MARA) of China. Approximately 44 representatives attended the meeting; 2)The back-to-back 5th Multilateral Cross-Border Meeting in the Upper Mekong Sub-region to Strengthen Collaboration of Transboundary Animal Disease Control among China, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Viet Nam, Cambodia was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province from 11 to 12 December 2019. Aside from the participants of the Annual Coordination Meeting of PSC, representatives from the Government of Viet Nam and World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), and private sectors participated in the Meeting.
