The FA Angola Country Programming Framework (CPF) 2024–2028 aligns with Angola’s “Angola 2050” strategy and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2023–2027. It aims to promote sustainable development and reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. The CPF focuses on building a sustainable, secure, and nutrition-sensitive agrifood system by improving agricultural productivity, food security, and environmental sustainability. Key focus areas include promoting innovative farming practices, strengthening climate resilience, and ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups such as women, youth, and people with disabilities. The framework is structured around four strategic pillars: agrifood systems transformation; family farming, agribusiness and value chains; environmental sustainability; and disaster risk management. The CPF’s objectives include improving food security and nutrition, aligning with several SDGs, and promoting inclusive socioeconomic development, particularly for youth and women, through job creation and income generation. It also aims to enhance resilience and sustainable management by adopting climate-smart technologies and promoting the blue economy. The framework strongly emphasizes enhancing market access, implementing innovative agricultural technologies, and ensuring the fair distribution of resources and opportunities. By supporting Angola’s advancement in food security, poverty reduction, and sustainable agriculture, the CPF 2024–2028 aligns with both national and global development goals.
