    The last semester in 2015 was de-voted to the preparation of the regional pelagic survey in the North-West African area in Gambia, Mauritania, Morocco and Senegal. The Regional Coordination Unit has also continued to work on the Trans-boundary Diagnostic Analysis and Strate-gic Action Plan.

    The last semester of the year 2014 was a period rich in events. The organiza-tion of national consultations on the development of the Strategic Action Plan in the seven CCLME countries was one of the major activities of the last six months.

    The project on the Protection of the Canary Current Large Marine Ecosystem (CCLME) was able to organize its second Steering Committee. Committee members congratulated the Regional Coordination Unit for the work achieved and approved the 2012 work plan.
