    This roll-up is going to be produced in the framework of a side-event during the 44th Edition of the CFS. This Side-event is organized by the Kingdom of Belgium. EU and FAO as co-organizers. Information about the event: Title: Dimitra Clubs for improved food security and nutrition Subtitle: A community-driven approach to empower rural women and men Friday, 13 October | 13:00–14:30 | Iran room (B116) The objective is to ensure a successful event branding design: the roll-up will contain the title and date of the event, a nice picture of a Dimitra Club from DRC, a citation and the four logos of FAO, Belgium, EU and CFS.

    This roll-up is going to be showcased in the framework of the 44th Edition of the CFS. It relates to a side-event entitled: "Dimitra Clubs for improved food security and nutrition. A community-driven approach to empower rural women and men." The event is organized by the Kingdom of Belgium and co-organized by the EU and FAO. It will take place on October 13, from 13.00 to 14.30 in the Iran Room. It will showcase the good practice of the FAO Dimitra Clubs in terms of food security and nutritio n and gender equality. Experiences from the field will be shared. The content of the roll-up will be in English. The main information of this roll-up will be: Title, sub-title, date, time and place, a nice picture and the information about interpretation during the event (in English, French and Spanish).

    The report summaries the proceedings of the meeting on “Improving Food Security and Nutrition Policies and Programme Outreach (IFSN) (2012-2015)” and the 5-year research project entitled “Improving the dietary intakes and nutritional status of infants and young children through improved food security and complementary feeding counselling (IMCF)” (2010-2015). The report includes lessons learned from the projects and recommendation for future programmes linking food security and nutrition educatio n actions that aim to improve young child nutrition.
