    The "Sustainable Beekeeping and Exchange of Cooperation between Türkiye and Ukraine" project, part of the FAO-Türkiye Partnership Programme on Food and Agriculture (FTPP II), enhances sustainable apiculture with a USD 200,000 budget. It addresses key challenges like bee health, pesticide risks, and market access, while fostering collaboration between the two nations.The project focuses on three core outputs: policy recommendations for sustainable beekeeping, a roadmap for spatial information exchange, and capacity building for educators through modernized training and knowledge-sharing. It benefits policymakers, educators, research institutes, and producer associations, aiming to minimize colony losses, improve education, and promote best practices.

    Women join forces to smoke fish 2022

    This fact sheet supports a series of videos created to promote peer-to-peer learning. The videos can be used as training tools to help share knowledge and learning on best practices in small-scale fishing communities. The videos were created under the FAO project “Empowering women in fisheries for sustainable food systems”, financed by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in support of the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines for Securing Sustainable Small-Scale Fisheries in the Context of Food Security and Poverty Eradication (SSF Guidelines).
