No results found.This United Nations Development Assistance Plan (UNDAP) is the business plan of all the UN agencies, funds and programmes in Rwanda for the period July 2013 to June 2018. UNDAP Rwanda supports the realization of the Millennium Declaration, the related Millennium Development Goals (MDGs),other international development aspirations, the transition from the MDGs and the post-2015 framework, the country’s medium-term national development priorities as set out in the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS 2) for the period 2013-2018, as well as the Rwanda Vision 2020. It will support the promotion in the country of all the international human rights that have been ratified by Rwanda, including the right to humanitarian assistance for refugees in the country. In line with the UN Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (2012), the UNDAP is strategic and results-oriented and clearly reflects the UN’s increased focus on providing upstream support to the national planning and implementation processes, capacity development, high quality policy advice and technical expertise based on best practices -

The research was based on a mixed method approach comprising in-depth qualitative methods and quantitative surveys conducted in Rwanda during the autumn of 2014.
