No results found.In December 1989, the Department of Central Province, Papua New Guinea, requested the South Pacific Aquaculture Development Project (SPADP) to make a preliminary survey of aquaculture development potential in the central Province in order to respond to increasing local inquiries on aquaculture development. After an endorsement obtained by the Department of Fisheries and Marine Resources of the Central Government, Project Manager/Regional Aquaculturist of SPADP visited the Central Province and ma de a pre-feasibility study from 5 to 11 March 1990. The purpose of this study was to identify potential of aquaculture development, to provide on-the-spot advice to the proposed aquaculture schemes and to make suggestions for further requirements. -
