No results found.Through the Special Fund for Emergency and Resilience Activities (SFERA), the Government of Belgium contributed USD 350 000 to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to help restore the livelihoods of farming households affected by the March 2025 earthquake in central Myanmar. With Belgium’s support, FAO will provide 1 360 households (6 800 people) with green gram seed, fertilizer and multipurpose assistance, along with training on good agricultural practices and nutrition. With Belgium’s support, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is launching a six-month emergency intervention to assist 124 crisis-affected households (approximately 500 people) in restoring their livelihoods.
