The CGIAR Research Programmes: Gearing Up for New Challenges |
The attached Report on Medium Term Resource Allocation provides TAC's views on the Medium-Term Plans for 1998-2000 prepared by each of the 16 CGIAR Centres- It includes an overview of the process and criteria TAC used in evaluating the proposals, a summary and TAC's commentary on each plan, and TAC's recommendations for resource allocation among Centres.
The major issues to be discussed will be introduced by the TAC Chair. Discussions will the place both in plenary and in parallel sessions. The report should be read in association with TAC's Report on CGIAR Priorities and Strategies for Resource Allocation During 1998-2000 (SDR/TAC:IAR/96/6.2).
