80. The Secretariat introduced this agenda item on the basis of a list of all the major themes discussed in past CIFA sessions and requested the Committee to propose topics for the next session.
81. The Committee consequently selected the following topics for consideration:
Cases of successful co-management experiences in Africa
Transboundary fisheries management in Sub-Saharan Africa
Strategies/mechanisms for improved reporting on inland capture fisheries
Fisheries enhancement in small water bodies
Cases of successful aquaculture ventures in Sub-Saharan Africa.
