The programme depends on the concept of interdisciplinary research approach, at which many disciplines are working together, not as multiple but interdisciplinary, to handle problems and seek solutions that should reflect the interdisciplinary views of one or more disciplines. www Brief description of institution/organization The Institute owns 12 experimental research stations, which were selected to represent variations in climate, soil texture, crops and agricultural and irrigation practices throughout Egypt. In addition to the above experimental stations, research programmes are carried out on fields owned and managed by individual farmers. The Institute has six laboratory sites that are equipped to carry out analyses of water, soil and crop samples. The institute can also arrange courses in various areas and for different target groups. |
