Brief description of institution/organization
The Center for International Agricultural Development Cooperation (CINADCO) of Israel's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, operates as the main professional and operational agricultural arm for Israel's development assistance agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Center for International Cooperation (MASHAV).

CINADCO's headquarters is located at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Complex in Bet Dagan on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, Israel. Agriculture has been the major component of Israel's international cooperation programme since its establishment in the late 1950s, aiming primarily to share its agricultural development experience with the developing world. CINADCO's programmes focus on combining sound professional experience with practical field level orientation, through improved agro-ecological methods and technological agricultural development practices, with a strong and continuous link to the country's own professional and practical agricultural development experience.

In this context, CINADCO offers professional services in those subjects where Israel's own experience reflects sound professional know-how and technological strengths related to agriculture and the environment.

These services range from crop and livestock-production practices, technologies, water management saving irrigation methods and systems, farm management, forestry and agro-ecology to research and development (R&D), agricultural extension, supporting systems, agribusiness consulting services, development related to arid and semiarid regions and additional topics for sustainable agricultural development. Operation and maintenance for farmer-managed irrigation systems.
