www Brief description of institution/organization Most of IRRI's research is done in cooperation with national agricultural research and development institutions, farming communities and other organizations of the world's rice-producing nations. IRRI's founders realized that research without education and training would have little or no impact on rice farmers and consumers. This guiding principle has continued to drive IRRI's training mission. Integrated training and extension efforts provide a link between science and practice. |
