Participants will be exposed to a combination of conventional project management issues (such as objective oriented planning, logical framework, tendering methods, contract formats for procurement of goods and works, implementation schedules, monitoring and evaluation formats and economic analysis) and development related issues to project management (such as demand responsive and participatory approaches, demand assessment and social, technical, institutional, economical/financial planning issues). www Brief description of institution/organization IHE offers a range of Masters and Ph.D. degree programmes, as well as shorter certificate and tailor-made training courses. These courses annually attract professionals of more than 70 different nationalities. IHE's research and development activities, including Ph.D. research, focus on priority areas of immediate concern to developing countries and countries in transition. These activities also aim to contribute to the overall knowledge base in a wide range of fields covered by each of IHE's main themes for research, education and institutional development. There are five research themes at IHE: water security, environmental integrity, urbanization, integration and information and communication. |
