Programme prospectus
Tailor-made courses are
custom-made for clients whose staff require training in examining specific
problems and finding solutions and to improve staff technical, managerial,
strategic and operational skills for immediate application at work. Short
courses are implemented to upgrade the knowledge and skills of mid-career or
senior staff of clients, to refresh the knowledge of staff by means of study
visits, internships and workshops. Special Group Training projects are part of
this type of courses. These customized training courses are for groups from one
country and one sector (strengthening sector performance), or from one country
and different sectors (improving cross-sector cooperation) or from different
countries and one-sector (improving cross-border cooperation and
peace-building).
The tailor-made short courses run for 1 to 8 weeks and the
special group training courses for 3 to 12 months courses are located either at
IHE or on-site (specific to client needs).
These tailor-made short courses and group training programmes
incorporate a mixture of training instruments, including lectures, workshops,
group work, presentations, role-playing, case studies and study tours to project
sites throughout Europe or the country/region where training takes
place.
