E-mail Type of programme Certificate Frequency of programme Programme's main focus Programme prospectus The same core issues face all water managers, namely: the assessment of water resource availability; user needs and allocation; identification and management of water quality requirements for different uses; selection of technologies for abstracting, distributing, storing and controlling water and the social, financial, economic, institutional, legal and political environment. Rather than being compartmentalized, these themes are integrated so that awareness of issues such as conflict between stakeholders and imbalances between supply and demand are raised. The lectures will introduce these common themes drawing on examples from developed and developing countries.
