Brief description of institution/organization
The
State Institute of Agriculture Management (SIAM) has been strengthened as a
State Level Institute since April 1993, under the Agriculture Department Project
(ADP). Prior to this, it functioned, until 1978, as the Agriculture Training
Centre to conduct training in agriculture for farmers, lower level and middle
level field staff from the Agriculture and Revenue Department. Currently the
Institute provides broad based training to AAO/AO/AD and senior officers of
Agriculture and other line Departments. |
