The ninth Session of the Committee on Fisheries (COFI) was held in Rome from 15 to 22 October 1974. The session was attended by 49 members of the Committee, by observers from 19 other other FAO Member Nations and the U.S.S.R., by the Permanent Observer for the Holy See, by representatives of the European Economic Community, the United Nations and its Specialized Agencies and by observers from six international organizations.
