| ABSTRACT |
| The final formal report of the Second Session of the Committee for Inland Fisheries of Africa (CIFA), Sub-Committee for Lake Tanganyika, held in Rome, Italy, from 20 to 21 October 1983, is presented. Major topics were a review of the status of the fisheries of Lake Tanganyika management and development issues facing riparian States, and a future action regional programme for the development of the fisheries of Lake Tanganyika. |
