Abstract

In Zaragossa, on June 29 to July 1st 1994, the two working groups for the elaboration of the TECAM and SELAM programmes met to discuss the implementation of the two networks. during the coming year. The organisation of several working sessions was proposed: economics, marketing for the SELAM and pathology, fresh water culture, diversification, and nutrition for TECAM.

MEDRAP will take care of the initial co-ordination of the two networks, after which Spain offered to take over the co-ordination and make use of its existing structure the CIHEAM.

This has led to some difficulties in finalising the documents and implementing corrections, because authors and contributors as well as some of the original material or files were no longer available.

Considering the above, we hope that the reader will understand that a standard of publication could not be maintained on a level as high as we would have liked it to be.
