The Latin America and Caribbean Forestry Commission (LACFC) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) held its 33rd Session from 26 to 30 June 2023 in Quito, at the kind invitation of the Government of Ecuador. The Session was attended by delegates of 21 member countries and observers of 12 organizations, including three United Nations agencies or fora, and nine international, intergovernmental, governmental and nongovernmental organizations.
