2000Dans le cadre de l'assistance fournie aux Etats membres pour le suivi du Cycle d'Uruguay et pour les prochaines négociations sur l'agriculture, la FAO a pris toute une série de mesures en vue d'améliorer la capacité de ces Etats, notamment les pays en développement, d'analyser les effets des Accords du Cycle d'Uruguay sur le secteur agricole. Ils pourront ainsi tenir compte du nouvel environnement commercial, tirer profit des débouchés et participer de manière effective aux prochaines négociatio ns commerciales multilatérales. 2000Le rapport du colloque qui s'est tenu à Genève les 23 et 24 septembre 1999, ainsi que les documents d'information pertinents, figurent au volume I de la présente publication. Le volume II rassemble 14 études de cas par pays, élaborées au début de 1999 par des consultants et distribuées sous leur forme provisoire au cours du colloque (elles ont également été diffusées sur Internet). La Division des produits et du commerce international de la FAO les a par la suite révisées afin de les publie r. La présentation et la synthèse des études (première partie du présent volume) ont été préparées sous l'entière responsabilité du secrétariat de la FAO, qui souhaite remercier les consultants de leur collaboration. -

Of these assets, the Library is unquestionably the most outstanding and is a lasting record of the Institute's work and its achievement in the field of agriculture. This catalogue will undoubtedly contribute towards a better knowledge of this international Library. This volume in its present form, represents the systematic card-index, by subject of the Brussels Decimal Classification, in French and English, and it's supplemented by the general alphabetical index of authors.
