No results found.The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in Ukraine has conducted a nationwide survey of agricultural enterprises with land up to 250 hectares. The survey included 1 927 agricultural enterprises (involved in crop and livestock production) in 23 oblasts, including selected rayons in Donetska, Kharkivska, Khersonska and Zaporizka oblasts that are under the control of the Government of Ukraine. Luhanska oblast (temporarily occupied) was excluded from the survey as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (temporarily occupied). The survey aimed at assessing the impact of the war on agrifood value chains and on crop and livestock producers, as well as estimating rehabilitation and recovery needs. The analysis is part of a series of complementary assessments that aim at providing a comprehensive understanding of the impact of the war on Ukraine’s agriculture sector and identifying possible programming and policy responses. -

No results found.The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has conducted a nation-wide rural household survey in Ukraine, targeting 5,230 rural households across the country, with the objectives of: i) collecting necessary evidence on the impact of the war on rural livelihoods to inform programming decisions and support advocacy efforts; and ii) complementing the data from consolidated and ongoing analyses, including sectoral damage and loss assessments. The analysis is part of a series of complementary assessments that aim at providing a comprehensive understanding of the impact of the war on Ukraine’s agriculture sector and identifying possible programming and policy responses. -

No results found.In May–June 2023, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Ukraine launched a survey on the impact of the war on commercial crop producers. This analysis is part of a series of complementary assessments aimed at providing a comprehensive understanding of the war’s impact on various producers and actors within Ukraine’s agriculture sector, including crop and livestock production as well as agrifood value chains. The data gathered will help identify the most pressing needs requiring immediate intervention to support commercial crop enterprises in absorbing and recovering from shocks, increasing their resilience and informing programming decisions and advocacy efforts.
