It was the first time an expert elicitation protocol on zoonotic diseases was implemented in Egypt and it is attaching monetary values to some variables. Stakeholders have used a One Health approach to experiment with a new methodology to look at zoonotic diseases to provide decision-makers with information on how to best allocate admittedly scarce public resources. -
