dc.description.abstract Shallot (Allium cepa L.var.aggregatum) holds a prominent position as a key seasoning ingredient in Indonesia. It also serves as a strategic commodity within the vegetable group, exerting a considerable influence on inflation. According to Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia’s shallot production is projected to reach 2.3 million tonnes in 2024. Among the provinces, Central Java takes the lead with a contribution of 5 642.6 thousand tonnes, accounting for 28.15 percent of the national shallot production.
