dc.description.abstract The Asia and Pacific Commission on Agricultural Statistics (APCAS) is a statutory body of FAO. APCAS brings together senior statistics officials from FAO member countries of the Asia and Pacific region, who are responsible for the development of agricultural statistics in their respective countries. The APCAS report notes the details of the Commission meeting which was held in Fiji in March 2018. Forty-nine technical documents, including an update on the situation of agricultural statistics and priority areas for FAO interventions in the region, were discussed. The report also highlights the key recommendations made by the Commission. These recommendations are proposed for use by APCAS Members in the Asia and the Pacific region.
