Synopsis (short abstract) This report comments on the situation of forest products in Niger. The first part of the report analyses the current uses and importance of forest products in the country followed by a special review on wood production and its uses. The later part looks into the collection, analysis and dissemination process and evaluates the methodologies used during the process. The most important products are also looked into in detail followed by some suggestions on how the overall process could be improve d.
