Three options are offered under the Options menu.
You can choose to enter crop component areas by hectares, so that the total adds up to the sum of the areas you enter. Or, if you prefer, you can choose to enter the area of the total coupe and enter the area of each crop component as a percentage of that total area. More about this option can be found in section 4.8.
The default is entry by hectares, which is therefore dimmed in the menu because the change to that option is not available (as it has already been selected). When you select the Percent Areas option, that is dimmed and the change to the Hectare Areas option becomes available and is shown in black.
Summary results can be shown per hectare or for the coupe as a whole. The default is per hectare (Unit Results) which is therefore dimmed in the menu because the change to that option is not available (as it has already been selected). When you select Coupe Results, that is dimmed and the change to the Unit Results option becomes available and is shown in black.
You can choose to recalculate the worksheet automatically after each item of data is entered, which is very satisfactory for What-if analysis. Or you can decide to recalculate only when you press F9 or one of the Calc buttons, which you may prefer when entering a lot of data. More about this option can be found in section 8.
The default is Manual, and that option is therefore dimmed in the menu because the change to that option is not available (it has already been selected). When you select Auto, that is dimmed and the change to the Auto option becomes available and is shown in black.
