The 31st Session of the CCFAC agreed to forward proposals[72] for methods of analysis for the determination of Cadmium, Copper, Iron, Lead and Zinc in food to the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling (CCMAS) for consideration.[73] Proposals for additional methods of analysis for the determination of food additives and contaminants in foods were requested under CL 1999/4-FAC on the basis of criteria established[74] at the 28th Session of the CCFAC.
138. The Committee agreed to forward a proposal made at the current meeting (CRD 4) for a method of analysis for the determination of Ochratoxin A in cereals and cereal products, further to those methods discussed at the 31st Session of the CCFAC, to the 23rd Session of the CCMAS (February 2001) for consideration.
139. The Committee agreed to invite comments for additional methods of analysis for the determination of food additives and contaminants in foods for discussion under Other Business at its next Session.
