This report has been jointly prepared by the Regional Office for Africa of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), the African Union Commission (AUC), and the World Food Programme (WFP), in close collaboration with the FAO Statistics Division (ESS), the FAO Agricultural Economics Division (ESA), and the FAO Subregional Office for Eastern Africa (FAOSFE).
