No results found.Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in bacterial organisms does not recognize biological, physical, or sectoral boundaries. Its potential transmission pathways include broad areas of disciplines that are often traditionally segregated. The collective and coordinated actions across these multiple disciplines can leverage on the strengthened sectoral accountability towards AMR mitigation. This ensures that the efforts of nations to address this global issue will benefit from the respective expertise of each sector, and that actions are also well-sustained by their respective mandates. -

Овој Водич е алатка што ја поддржува мисијата на ФАО за напредно водење на евиденција за ефикасност во добивката и подобро управување со животната средина. Одгледувачите на бројлери, интеграторите, преработувачите, добавувачите, услужните компании за храна, трговците на мало и надворешните засегнати страни ја сфаќаат важноста за заедничка соработка кон заедничките цели за спроведување на најдобрите практики, следење на напредокот и стремеж кон континуирано подобрување преку подготовка на Водичот кој ги вклучува најдобрите практики за управување, како што е наведено во овој документ. Водичот е алатка за поддршка и комуникација на континуираното подобрување на одржливоста преку лидерство, иновации, ангажирање на засегнатите страни и соработка. Документот вклучува насоки за најдобрите практики за управување што може да се користат за фарми, инкубаторски станици и преработка, денес и во иднина. Исто така, има важна функција за одржување на највисоките достижни стандарди за благосостојба и безбедност на храната. Водичот е подготвен од ФАО и Факултетот за земјоделски науки и храна на Република Северна Македонија. Се очекува оваа публикација да послужи како практичен водич со вредни информации како за искусни така и за нови производители на живина, но и за студенти, истражувачи, итн. -

The "Sustainable Broiler Production in North Macedonia - A Value Chain Guide to Best Practice" is to enhance the development of a sustainable broiler meat industry in North Macedonia so as to deliver a high-quality product that can compete directly with the current high volume of imported product. This Guide is a tool that supports the FAO mission to advance track record of efficiency gains and better environmental stewardship. Broiler growers, integrators, processors, suppliers, foodservice companies, retailers and outside stakeholders realise the importance of working together to collaborate on the shared goals of implementing best practices, tracking progress, and continuing to drive continuous improvement through the creation of the Guide including the best management practices as outlined in this document. The Guide is a tool to support and communicate continuous improvement in sustainability through leadership, innovation, multi-stakeholder engagement and collaboration. It successfully aggregates a list of best management practices that could be utilised on farms, hatcheries and processing operations both today and into the future. It also incorporates the important function of maintaining the highest achievable standards for welfare and food safety. The Guide has been developed by FAO and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food of the Republic of North Macedonia. It is expected that this publication will serve as a practical guide providing valuable information to both experienced and novice poultry producers alike, as well as for students, researchers. -
